Mother's first little strike.
Most of us have never heard of the MOAB bomb the US military dropped on a cave system in Afghanistan last week about costing $170,000.
First built in 2003, it is a Massive Ordnance Air Blast weapon nicknamed "mother of all bombs".
Use of the bomb brought immediate praise from Afghan allies & others, including some Democrats, and immediate criticism from antiTrump people who tried to conflate the cost of the bomb with things like defunding 'Meals on Wheels'.
Comparing that is profound ignorance; Since the US spends only 3.3% of budget for Meals on Wheels of America. Other programs may effect funding, but using this is an example is just silly political theatrics.
Some people, thought the mother of all bombs was theatrical & they are correct! There are other means they could have used. But the message was not just meant for Isis, but the whole world saw it.
So doing something less would have had no big headlines. There are a large number of people in the US who want to see the president faill and with the monetary help of subversives they're working to make it happen.
